Let me tell you a bit about my journey. I fell in love with photography in 2019, during my senior year of high school. Back then, I was capturing moments for friends and family, just for the joy of it. That joy quickly grew into something deeper—a calling. After graduating in 2020, I pursued my AAS in Photography at Iowa Central Community College, and now I’m continuing my creative path at UNI, working toward a bachelor’s in Art Education.
Why art education? Because my passion doesn’t stop at photography. I’m drawn to all forms of art and to the magic of teaching—sharing creativity, sparking imagination, and helping others see the beauty in their own stories.
I also have a deep love for travel. I spent a life-changing semester in Florence, Italy—wandering cobblestone streets, soaking in Renaissance art, and capturing golden Tuscan light through my lens. That experience only fueled my wanderlust, and I can’t wait to keep checking off my travel bucket list, one adventure at a time. Family is everything to me. They’ve been my biggest cheerleaders from the very beginning—encouraging every creative leap, celebrating every milestone, and reminding me to stay grounded in what matters most. Their unwavering support is the reason I’ve been able to chase my dreams with such joy and confidence. I grew up surrounded by love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the little moments—and that’s exactly what I aim to capture in my work. Whether it’s a quiet glance between grandparents, the chaos of cousins running wild, or the way a parent looks at their child like they’re the whole world—I live for those moments. I know how sacred those connections are, and I consider it an honor to preserve them through my lens.
